How to Increase Readership and Bring More Traffic

Share it Please

Readership is a significant part of a blog that benefits both webmasters and users. A Blog is mainly known because of its content and quality readers. Have you seen those blogs which receive gazillions of quality comments daily from its loyal users, and elongated debates done by different readers in the form of commenting also shows the credibility of that blog. It’s a fact that not everyone can have that kind of readership, but one can certainly improve on it.

I personally worked on several blogs with almost unlike niches and building quality readership was no more than a 6 month game. Yes, you heard me right. You can build awesome readership in just 6 months, all you need to do is to follow the following things to guarantee an increase in your readership and traffic.
How to Increase Readership and Bring More Traffic
Before you start reading further, I would like to show you a site that I created Templateism.com. This site has an amazing fan following and readership. You can check out each post has no less than 200 comments which show the credibility of it. (It’s just for the motivation, everyone can replicate it).

Write Interesting Content:

You want visitors it’s not visitors who want you. In the same way, you have to write interesting content for users because every tom, dick and harry can blog. However, they cannot write interesting and valuable content. Try to be unique and concentrate on writing trending news that is currently hot. When you write on such topics that are current, the chances are bright that your site might gain a few readers.
For example, 100 visitors visit your site in a day out of which 10 subscribers to your site. It means you can 10 x 30 = 300 new quality subscribers a month. Not bad, Huh?

Say no to “ADVERTISEMENTS”:

Few people might differ with me, but I have tried it on my all new blogs and this thing does work awesomely well. When a site has a lot of advertisements, the possibilities are high that users might not even read your content. They might land on your site, and left it the second they see tons of ads popping up in front of their eyes. Let’s be realistic and try to keep a site ad-free for at least the first six months because first six months of a site is a crucial time that should be utilized in gaining the trust of readers.
Either you feed your tummy with money, or play it wisely. If you have a chicken that lays golden eggs, will you kill it to get all the eggs or you will get 1 egg daily? Choose wisely.

Engage with Readers, Share Respect:

Sharing respects and engaging with your readers is an old, but one of the most significant thing for increasing a website’s traffic. Try to reply to  the comments of your users, provide  quality solutions to their problems and give them some respects, so they can trust you like an authentic resource.

While replying to their questions try to be in polite and soft tone because by using aggressive or harsh words you will give wrong message and this might be the last time you replied to that particular user.

Increase Trust, Don’t Fake:

There are millions and tons of blogs on the web, but only few are trustworthy. That doesn’t mean everyone lies. It is about maintaining the trust that your readers have on you, like providing them accurate information whenever it’s needed.

When people trust you, they often refer you to their friends and family. This increases your follower circle and it keeps on repeating, May be infinite times.

Post Content on Daily Basis:

Last but certainly not the least, you should post content frequently on your site. Users love those sites that post fresh and new content every day. In other words, you can say that, the way you eat food daily users eat your content.

They are hungry for fresh content. Now if you will serve delicious content for FREE, no wonder why you will get maximum visitors on your site.

What's next?

I hope, this article may have helped everyone in learning about some of the facts and secrets that I used on my sites in increasing the readership, visitors and fan following of my different websites. It could take more than 6 months, but I am sure if you will try, you will not fail.
